Things that happen when I wear kerber - move abroad.

I didn't post this, did I?
Wearing Kerber to our goodbye party in Stockholm a few days before we left for New York.

Wore Kerber on the plane too. Just works. Try it for yourself the next time you move to a foreign country.

My life this minute.

Am sitting here, waiting for Niki to finish dance day camp. So happy about one particular thing today: wrote an entire chapter for a project I'm working on.  The writing came so easily, it almost felt like cheating.

It's hot in Brooklyn today but not as hot as it's been. There's just this mellow nice breeze and a wonderful summer feeling.

We left most of our books in Sweden as we could only bring one suitcase each on the plane. Today made my first book purchase state side in the nice Brooklyn Art Library store:

Immediately loved this list - an artist listing his financial needs to a benefactor, listing "bad habits" as one of his main spendings. (though personally wanted to scrawl "semi" right before bad habits cause at a mere 5 bucks how bad could they possibly have been?)

They don't have air conditioning at this cafe, just a fan going back and forth. I wanted the fan effect in my hair and realized timing was similar to that of using laughing gas during labor: you have to plan to hit the button/gas prior to the moment you want the effect to set in.

If you want to make money in Brooklyn, I think this is all you have to do: travel the states with a big truck and buy 60's (or older) wooden furniture for close to nothing. Then return and mark all items
2 600 dollars. That's what people do here. Promise. You could do it too.

Ok, that's it for now, must go pick Niki up.

Next: Meeting up with friends to go to this:

Ps.  Passed this sign on the street today. Wanted to tell them "you had me at beer".
